About Me
Hi! My name is Amie McClean I am a freelance Screenwriter, producer and cinematographer. I’m currently a final year student studying Cinematic Arts BSc (Hons). I have many hobbies outside of Film and TV including ice hockey, photography and travelling. This is where most of the inspiration for my stories come from.
My first love for Film and TV came about when I was at school and I went to see titanic with a friend of mine. It made me think to myself I would love to make something so factual yet somehow make it my own. It opened a whole new creative outlook for me and has so far allowed me to see films from a different perspective.
My earliest memory of enjoying cinematography was climbing the mountains in County Antrim when I was about 17. I took a wonderful photo which, when studying afterwards I thought would be a wonderful place to film a love story or a nature film. But it began to make me look at each of the photos I take to see if it would be a good location to shoot in.
